If you were awaiting the much-anticipated arrival of the new novel by Charles David Reid (and illustrated by yours truly) "The Descendant: Mary's Song", wait no longer. I have word from the writer that it is in the hands of the publisher and is set to print. The official release date is September 24th. You can find Mary's Song on Amazon.com and BarnesAndNoble.com, however it won't be on shelves at your local B&N. You CAN however head to the customer service desk and ask them to order you a copy and ship it to the store (I believe you can save on shipping costs that way). I would appreciate any and all of you who purchase a copy. Depending on the sales of the first book, Charles will consider releasing the second book, which he has already completed.
